New stainless steel drawer slide

To meet increasing market demands for specialised drawers slides, JetPress is now offering the new high-quality stainless steel range from Accuride International.

The new DS3557 stainless steel slides are said to deliver many benefits. “The 316 stainless steel material ensures resistance to pitting and chemical chloride solutions. These drawer slides are ideal for chemical, marine and military applications, as they are well suited to challenging and harsh environments.”

Notable features of the DS3357 slide is its slim design, manufactured with a slide thickness of 12.7mm, ensuring maximum performance in space limited applications. For optimum performance, these slides have a load rating of up to 90kg and are available in lengths of 305mm to 660mm.

Over-travel is achieved through a 100%+ extension, allowing the drawers to open in excess of the slide length. For the safety of employees and equipment, this slide is designed with a lock-out feature, ensuring the slide does not roll back while in the open position.

Another feature is the pinch-free aspect, with a spring disconnect making installation quick and easy, allowing quick access for maintenance, service or repairs, significantly reducing working hours and improving client efficiency.

316 stainless steel has the added benefit of withstanding high temperatures, along with antibacterial properties, making it suitable for food and medical applications.

Accuride drawer slides offer load ratings from 16kg up to 550kg. They also offer liner motion, two-way travel, along with a variety of features, such as hold-in, lock-in, hold-out, lock-out, soft close, self-close, push-to-open and 100%+ extension.
