Smart thinking from Ellsworth

Ellsworth Adhesives Europe has recently enhanced its range of dispensing equipment with the addition of four new Techcon smart valve controllers: TS550R, TS560R, TS570R and TS580R.

Just launched, each Techcon model has been designed to work with different dispensing valves and pumps.

TS550R is a smart controller capable of controlling all Techcon pneumatic valves, pinch valves, needle valves, diaphragm valves and spool valves. This controller operates by providing a time air pressure signal for bonding and filling applications.

TS560R controls all Techcon spray valves by sending a timed air pressure signal and atomised air signal to the spray valves for all lubrication, marking and conformal coating demands.

TS570R is a smart auger valve which assigns a timed voltage signal and air pressure to Techcon auger valves for solder paste dispensing and encapsulation and potting needs.

A smart PC pump controller, TS580R delivers air pressure and an encoder signal to Techcon progressive cavity pumps for effective lubrication control on automotive parts, precise filling and bonding and dispensing pastes and flux.

All Techcon Smart valve controllers feature an intuitive touch screen interface for easy set-up and operation, and operate with IoT (Industry 4.0) for ‘Smart Factory’ integration. Furthermore, this range has been developed with a technically advanced internet port and remote access capabilities to allow for monitoring, parameters adjustment, data recording, troubleshooting and any firmware upgrades through an internet connection.

Manufactured with a digital pressure regulator for added precision and a digital timing control to ensure a repeatable output, this smart valve controller range is best suited to electronics assembly, mobile device manufacturing, medical device manufacturing, aerospace and general assembly markets.
